Our Story
Back in 2018, we put together the Nacho Hatch pop-up out of scaffold boards, corrugated iron and a bit of welding know-how. That summer, we debuted at 'Origins Festival' and 'Into the Wild Festival' and went down a storm!

For the 2019 season we managed to get our wonderful van! Peugeot J7 1972, formerly used as a horse-box in the south of France which we turned into a nacho-slinging machine! With a bit of experience under our belt and a mouth-watering menu, we were able to have a busy season, providing tasty snacks to revellers at 8 different events and festivals.

However, though every effort was made to reduce waste and use good quality local ingredients we just couldn't carry on following a structure that relied on pre-packaged meats, cheeses and imported veg.

So with many lockdown reflections and a toast to the powerhouse that was The Nacho Hatch, Artemis was born, a new endeavour with the same skeleton as before, but which we truly hope is the answer to wasteful street food and and a pioneer in a wild food revolution!
